The “UNESCO Chair for the Conservation of Cultural Heritage”, which has been based at the University of Applied Arts Vienna since 2019, provides the official framework for international projects in the form of conservation science, restoration of cultural heritage and artistic research activities.

The projects are organized with international multidisciplinary partners and funded by the Austrian Science Fund (FWF) and the European Union.
