Fragments, past and present have been linked in the ongoing exhibition „Beyond Fragmentation“ at Schloss Loosdorf. In addition to the broken porcelain collection, the focus has also been layed on the historical room furnishings.The textile Wall hangings and the polychrome wooden elements have been restored int the framework of diploma projects by students of the Institute of Conservation and presented at the exhibition.The still running exhibition ‘BEYOND FRAGMENTATION’ provides insights into various topics relating to the broken collection at Loosdorf Castle, conservation aspects of porcelain and current restoration projects.
